You've all been so patient. We've been preoccupied (who knew opening a restaurant would be so much work?) but we're finally hosting our first wine tasting in well over a month. Justin from National Wines will join us to show off some beautiful Italian wines. From frizzante, every so sparkling delicate white blends, to a stoney, brooding Aglianico, we've got a wide range of hand-crafted wines to share with you. Alright alright, we've been slacking on the tastings lately, but we've got a fun one lined up for this Thursday. Someday things will be green in central Maine, and so we're showing some spring-friendly libations in anticipation of that glorious day. Wines that herald warmer days shall be drank, and we're throwing in a couple curve-ball, non-traditional offerings. This will also be our first tasting with the wonderful Hannah from Pine State!

We'll be hosting John Bonney from Foundation Brewing and Nathan Hall from Kennebec Cider co. Foundation Brewing = beautifully made craft brews, and Kennebec = awesome, artisanal Maine hard cider! Both make for wonderful holiday food pairings, so think past wine when it comes to holiday fare and come give em a try. Cheers!

Why is Linus looking for magic pumpkins? Anyhow, we'll be hosting a triple decker tasting of our three favorite libations with our bud Corey from Vacationland Distributors. We'll have awesome natural wines, a few craft beers, and a couple ciders! Cheers for pumpkins, falling leaves, and the wonder of fermentation

Rocky Ground tasting, take 2! We had Angus and Abbey in last fall to sample their badass ciders, and we're having them back again to show us their new vintages. They use primarily wild harvested apples and allow for spontaneous fermentation with all their ciders. Long story short, their stuff is legit and uber tasty. Join us for a taste of Maine heritage!

Join us and Lisa from Devenish Wine as we take a trip to Spain. Spain has just as much to offer for quality and diversity of wines as any other wine producing nation. From the arid plateaus of Manchuela to the deep green hills of Galicia, Spain's diverse ecology and deep traditions shine through in its wine. We'll drink a bit and see for ourselves! And as is often the case, most of the wines we'll sample are either organic or biodynamic, and low intervention. Cheers!

It's that time of year again. Meridians is working its way through the toddler stages, and we're now four years old! We're potty trained, getting into fights at school, all that good stuff.
